SDPA offer private lessons for all ages for piano, bass, acoustic and electric guitar, drums, violin, vocal and acting.  Lessons are 30 minutes or 60 minutes long for piano, vocal, guitar, drums, bass and acting.  We can also offer you 60 minute lessons every other week.

ABOUT YOUR LESSONS:

Lessons are every week on a specific day.  We set up a certain day and time for lessons and that is your spot.  You come every week at the same time, as that is your allotted time.  There are no contracts and you can start and stop when you want.

Our lessons are taught using the three ways of learning: Auditory, Visual and Kinesthetic.  We use curriculum, videos, playing along with the student and playing examples for the student and more so that our lessons are well-rounded and will work for all types of learners.

Acting and Speaking Lessons
Private one-on-one acting lessons or Speaking Lessons are just like our vocal and instrument lessons. You meet with a teacher once a week for 30-minutes.  You learn cold reading, on-camera auditions, monologue technique, script analysis, memorizing lines without sounding like you did, and your private coach helps you identify and eliminate problems that keep you from getting call backs.  Or you can concentrate on speaking in front of large crowds.  It is also great to help kids that have to speak in front of their classmates for a book report or thesis.  Our teacher can go over techniques that helps calms the butterflies so the experience is not so nerve-racking for children and teens.  The teacher will help give a student life time skills they can use the rest of their life.   Click here to register for the class or call us and we will sign you up over the phone at 619-786-7372.
